ETSB&OA Concert Festival 2012
The Tennesse High Symphonic Band performed at ETSB&OA Concert Festival on March 22nd in Greeneville, TN. The band performed ‘Pas Redouble’ and ‘Abram’s Pursuit’ in the Grade 5 music class, and received Superior ratings from all three music judges and the sight reading judge. As a result, they have been invited to perform in the TMEA State Concert Festival in Nashville. See videos below.

Dobyns-Bennett CIPA 2012
On Saturday, March 3rd the Tennessee High Prep, Junior Varsity and Varsity Colorguards performed at the CIPA Colorguard Focus Show at Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport. Videos are shown below. THS at Alcoa 2011
On October 29th, the MVB competed in the Alcoa Marching Band Festival in Alcoa, TN, capturing all the 1st Place trophies in their class. Results and video are posted below.

On Saturday, the Mighty Viking Band hosted ‘Music in the Castle’ and performed their 2011 show “The Promise of Living” in exhibition. See video below.

WCU 2011
On October 14th the MVB performed at halftime at Dobyns-Bennett, then traveled from the game to North Carolina, where they performed in the Western Carolina University Tournament of Champions the following day. For more click here.
THS at Lonesome Pine 2011
On Saturday, the Mighty Viking Band took their 2011 show “The Promise of Living” to their first competition of the season, the Lonesome Pine Band Festival in Wise, VA. From the morning rehearsal through the evening performance, they faced cold temperatures, wind and rain. At the end of the day, they came home cold, wet and very proud, winning every caption and bringing home the Grand Champion trophy. Results and video are posted below.

Volunteer Indoor Showcase 2011
On Saturday February 26th the Tennessee High Indoor Percussion Ensemble performed in the Volunteer Indoor Showcase at Volunteer High School in Church Hill, TN. They had 3rd highest score in their class, but received 4th place due to a timing penalty.
